A homicide investigation is currently underway in Salisbury, Maryland after 23-year-old Franklin Rodriguez Perez was critically injured and later died from gunshot wounds. The incident occurred on June 9, 2024, at approximately 2:27 in the morning in a business parking lot on E. Naylor Mill Rd. Police officers responded to a report of a fight and shots fired at the location. Maryland State Police Homicide Unit is leading the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Maryland State Police at (410)749-3101, Salisbury Police Department at (410)548-3165, or Crime Solvers anonymously at (410)548-1776. Crime Solvers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest.
