Residents in Salisbury, Maryland voiced concerns over digging in their neighborhood, which is part of the installation of Fiber Optic Cable by Glo Fiber. Glo, a subsidiary of Shenandoah Telecommunications Company, struck a deal with the city in 2022 to offer TV and high-speed internet to over 11,000 homes as an alternative to Comcast. The project began in 2023 and was estimated to take 18 to 24 months. In 2024, Glo started providing services in some parts of Salisbury where work was completed and will continue expanding throughout the city.
