The City of San Diego is currently working on a project to improve La Media Road in Otay Mesa. This will involve repaving part of the road to enhance safety and alleviate flooding in the area. The project aims to provide congestion relief for cross-border commercial traffic. A section of the road is expected to open in the coming months, while other work will continue until early 2025.
