Sarasota Declares September 15 as Powerboat Grand Prix Day

The City of Sarasota has officially declared September 15, 2024, as Sarasota Powerboat Grand Prix Day in recognition of the event's 40th anniversary. The P1 Offshore Sarasota Grand Prix has been attracting teams and spectators from around the world since its inception in 1984.
The Grand Prix not only offers an exciting weekend of racing but also contributes to the P1 Marine Foundation. This foundation focuses on raising awareness about threats to waterways and supports youth interested in marine conservation.
