FloridaMakes is hosting a webinar series focused on business recovery for manufacturers affected by Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton. The webinar is scheduled for Friday, October 18, from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. It is organized in collaboration with the Economic Development Corporation of Sarasota County.

Participants can expect several key updates, including critical recovery information from FloridaMakes, which is the official representative of the Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) National Network in Florida.

The session will feature expert insights on important topics such as business insurance, federal tax disaster relief, and various disaster funding sources. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions and receive answers specific to their manufacturing needs and concerns.

This initiative is part of ongoing efforts to support the manufacturing sector in the region during recovery efforts.
