Caltrans will begin emergency barrier rail repairs on U.S. 101 and Interstate 80 in San Francisco starting Saturday, November 9, at 10 PM. The construction work is expected to continue throughout the month of November.

During this period, there will be a full closure of the westbound I-80 to southbound U.S. 101 Central Freeway connector from 10 PM on November 9 until 9 AM on November 11. The closures are necessary for crews to replace damaged concrete barriers and tubular railings.

Travelers are advised to plan their trips accordingly.
