The Sarasota County Fire Department will host an Open House at Station 22 on Saturday, Nov. 16, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event, located at 4531 Englewood Road, Venice, is free and family-friendly. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet firefighters, view fire apparatus, and learn about fire safety and prevention, hands-only CPR, and how to use an AED. Additional services such as car seat safety inspections and bike helmet fittings will also be available.

The Fire Department is accepting unwrapped toy donations for children aged 12 and under during the event. For more information and to find out when the open house will occur at other SCFD stations, visit scgov.net.
