Apex Women Empowered Through CaCaring Connections Mentorship

In Apex, North Carolina, Wake County women living in poverty face challenges such as finding shelter, providing food for their children, arranging childcare during work hours or medical appointments, and securing transportation to and from their jobs. Cynthia Thelen, Executive Director of CaCaring Connections Ministry, highlighted these issues during her remarks on Thursday. She stated that the lack of support, guidance, and hope can hinder women from achieving self-sufficiency. Her organization works to provide hope, support, and mentorship to empower women to overcome these obstacles. The message was shared at an event hosted by the Apex Rotary Club.
