Cornell AgriTech Plants 70M Apple Rootstock Trees

Cornell AgriTech at Cornell University has planted 70 million trees using Cornell apple rootstock. The program includes three new rootstocks known as Geneva 257, Geneva 484, and Geneva 66. In the United States, between 5 million and 7 million trees are planted annually on Geneva rootstock. More information about the research can be found on the Cornell website.
