Geneva Rink Opens Season with Extended Hours

The Geneva Recreation Complex will open its ice skating season on Saturday, October 18th with public skating from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Open skating will be available throughout the season during weekday, weekend, and special holiday hours.

The rink’s schedule includes public skating during the week from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and extended hours on Friday and Saturday nights from 6:45 to 9:30 p.m. Additionally, Saturday and Sunday afternoons are available from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Evening public skating will not be held on selected weekend nights due to home games for Hobart or William Smith. These dates are listed as Fridays on November 17, November 24, November 21, December 4, January 9, January 16, January 23, January 30, February 6, and February 20, and Saturdays on January 8 and February 1.

Special holiday and extended public skating sessions will also take place while school is out. These sessions will have an admission rate of $8.00 for residents and $10.00 for non-residents. Scheduled extended hours include Tuesday, November 11th from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; Tuesday, November 26th from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; Friday, November 28th from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; and Monday through Wednesday, December 22nd to 24th, beginning at 11 a.m.

Season passes and daily admissions are available for both residents and non-residents. For those interested in hosting birthday parties or private events, party packages starting at $300 are offered and include options for public or private ice time.
