Apex Foundation Concludes Fiscal Year, Seeks Community Support

Apex Foundation in Apex, North Carolina, has announced the completion of its 2025 fiscal year and asked for end-of-year support from the community. The organization, which focuses on increasing student engagement by promoting creativity, innovation, and collaboration in education, supports 21 Wake County Public Schools in Apex. This group includes four high schools, five middle schools, and 12 elementary schools, with the addition of Pleasant Plains Elementary School and Felton Grove High School for the 2025‑26 school year.

The Apex Foundation supports local education through a teacher grant program and school staff recognition. The teacher grant program allows teachers in Apex-area schools to apply for grants to fund innovative and creative educational programs, technology, and equipment. Over the past five grant cycles, 35 grants have been awarded to 16 schools, with over $57,000 provided in funding. These grants have impacted the educational experiences of more than 14,000 students annually.

Grant applications are accepted between September 15 and October 15. A committee reviews the applications in October and November, with the final decisions made by the APSF Board during the January meeting. The organization also mentioned excitement for the upcoming 2026 grant awards and recognitions and expressed openness to naming one of its future grants after a supporter.

Apex Foundation concludes its current fiscal year with a call for community support as it continues to back public school teachers and students.
