Florida Studio Theatre Hosts Two-Day Campfire Performance
Florida Studio Theatre said it recently hosted a two-day performance with The Haven at its Keating Theatre.
The company said the venue was “transformed” into “the perfect place to share stories and songs: a campfire,” and that it reflected on the performances during the run. Florida Studio Theatre said watching the performers “absolutely rock the stage” was an “unforgettable treat.”
The post added that the group is “honored to be able to do this every year.”

Sheriff’s Office Arrests Woman in Sarasota Bar Burglary
Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office arrested Kara Jane Rose Plocharsky on a burglary count after deputies responded to an alarm at the 8 Ball Lounge. Detectives said surveillance showed her shattering the front door and pushing liquor bottles off a bar, causing thousands of dollars in damage.
