Charles Burrall to Speak at Geneva Library
The Geneva Public Library announced a free program featuring Charles Burrall at the Country School Association of America’s annual conference, where he is the keynote speaker.
In the talk, Burrall will share his experience being “Captured by the Russians” and discuss his experiences attending one of Geneva’s last one-room schoolhouses. The library said the program is aimed at people interested in the Cold War or local history.
GPL said it will co-sponsor the event. The library said it will take place on Sunday, June 21, at 6:30 p.m.
