Valley Regional Transit Thanks for “Bus Day Ever”
Valley Regional Transit thanked people for braving the heat and joining the agency at last week’s Bus Day Ever.
The transit agency said it also thanked the Ada County Highway District (ACHD) for hosting the event.
Valley Regional Transit said events like these help first-time riders gain confidence to become regular bus riders. The agency said it was “fantastic to see residents” discover how easy and useful riding the bus can be.

27J Schools credits builders for school growth funding
27J Schools says local homebuilders have voluntarily contributed more than $20 million since 2001 to help fund school expansion and new construction. The district said multiple builders and school board members were recognized during its June 10 meeting for supporting the Capital Facility Fee Foundation.

CWI One Stop Services to Close in Nampa
College of Western Idaho said One Stop Student Services at its Nampa campus Micron Education Center will close June 24–26. Services will move to the Ada County Center Lynx Building during the closure, and One Stop will reopen in Nampa on June 29.
