Belen Islas Artwork Celebrates Latino Heritage Month

Belen Islas has created a new artwork titled "Though She Be But Little She is Fierce," which is an acrylic painting on wood measuring 26 inches by 20 inches. The piece will be featured during Latino Heritage Month in Los Angeles, which celebrates the contributions and rich history of Latinos in the city.

The City of Los Angeles, founded in 1781, invites residents and visitors to participate in events and activities throughout this month. The Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs has released an annual Calendar and Cultural Guide that includes various programs for celebration.
