**Bioscience LA Week Scheduled for October 15-18, 2024**
Los Angeles, CA - The County of Los Angeles will host Bioscience LA Week from October 15 to 18, 2024. This event is organized by the Department of Economic Opportunity in collaboration with the Larta Institute, LAEDC, and Bioscience LA. The summit aims to bring together stakeholders in the bioscience community to elevate successful initiatives and encourage further development of LA County's biosciences ecosystem.
The week features a series of themed sessions:
- **Tuesday, October 15**: The event kicks off with "Launching Your Bioscience Career: Opportunities in LA County," presented by LA Mission College, from 10 AM to 3 PM.
- **Wednesday, October 16**: "Engaging the Vibrant Bioscience Business Landscape in LA County" will be held from 11 AM to 7 PM, with presentations from Larta Institute Director Kelly LoBianco and Chief Deputy Jessica Ku Kim.
- **Thursday, October 17**: From 4 PM to 7:30 PM, the focus will be "Expanding Bioscience in LA County: A Subregional Approach," featuring presentations by various local entities, including the City of Pasadena and the San Gabriel Valley Economic Partnership.
- **Friday, October 18**: The week concludes with "Showcasing Bioscience Innovation in LA County" from 1:15 PM to 5 PM, presented by The Lundquist Institute and Larta Institute.
