Free Literacy Program Empowers Adults at Library

Wicomico Public Library in Salisbury, Maryland, offers a program called Project Read, which is designed to help adults improve their literacy skills. This free, one-on-one program focuses on reading, writing, and basic math skills.

Individuals who need assistance with reading or preparing for their GED can contact DeMyra Harvey at 410-749-3612 ext. 159. More information about the program can also be found on the Wicomico Library's website at www.wicomicolibrary.org/project-read.

Project Read aims to empower participants through education and enhance their future opportunities.
