Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, NY, has reported that 20 students are participating in the FLX Summer Internship Program. The internship program provides students with hands-on experience across the Finger Lakes Region. Fields of work include conservation, economic development, film, law, mental health, and education.

In addition to internships, the students attend weekly professional development sessions organized by the Salisbury Center for Career, Professional and Experiential Education. Participants also read The Island of the Four Ps by Edhaji Author and study workplace trends and challenges.

Pittsburgh launches CitiSports Spring League for high schoolers

Pittsburgh Parks & Recreation announced the CitiSports Spring League for high school students at Arlington Recreation Center in Pittsburgh, which will begin April 17, 2025, with games from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Thursdays at 2201 Salisbury St., Pittsburgh, PA 15210; the coed program is open to students ages 19 and younger who are still enrolled in high school, requires teams to register with each team providing its own shirts, and registration can be arranged by contacting Recreation Supervisor Ebony Randall at 412-740-8744, with Learn and Earn representatives on site to assist applicants.
