The Sarasota Police Department has reported that the traffic light at the entrance to the John Ringling Causeway and Sunset Drive is currently not functioning. Crews are on-site working to repair the traffic light, and drivers are advised to exercise caution when passing through this area.

Additionally, there is still no access to St. Armands or Lido Keys. The Sarasota Police Department, alongside the National Guard, is continuing to assist residents on the islands. Authorities appreciate the community's patience and cooperation during this time.
