**Fraud Targeting Older Adults Highlighted in Educational Series**

The Larkspur Community Center in Bend, Oregon, is addressing the issue of fraud targeting older adults through a free weekly educational seminar series called "Lunch and Learns." Research shows that younger individuals often lose more money to fraud than older adults, making these sessions particularly relevant.

The seminars take place most Tuesdays from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM in the Multi-purpose Room. Participants are encouraged to bring their own lunch or purchase sandwiches and salads from the Larkspur Café, where dessert and coffee are provided free of charge.

Upcoming seminar topics include:

- **October 8**: An Inside Look at Medicare Annual Enrollment, presented by Mark Fuchs, an Independent Medicare Broker.

- **October 15**: Living with Arthritis, with Denise Jerome, PT from Focus Physical Therapy.

- **October 22**: Understanding Alzheimer’s and Dementia, led by Ken Scholz from the Alzheimer’s Association.

- **October 29**: Feng Shui at Home, featuring Consy Malasoma, a certified Feng Shui Consultant and Home Stager.

The events are presented in partnership with PacificSource Medicare Health Plans. More information about the Lunch and Learn schedule can be found at www.bendparksandrec.org/bsc-lunch-learn.
