North Port Fire Rescue reports that the "A" shift personnel at Station 82 recently participated in Rapid Intervention Team (RIT) training. The training involved challenging drills designed by RIT experts to enhance the firefighters' skills. Each crew practiced in pairs to prepare for emergency situations where a team member may need assistance during a fire. The training focused on teamwork, trust, and preparedness to ensure the safety of both the community and fellow firefighters.
