North Port Offers Holiday Programs for Residents

Staff Report / NPlocal.org

The City of North Port has announced that its Social Services team is currently accepting registrations for two holiday programs, Home for the Holidays.

The Senior Giving Tree event will take place on December 4 from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Seniors attending this event will receive a complimentary meal and can participate in games, including BINGO.

Additionally, the Adopt-N-Shop program invites residents to help spread holiday cheer by "adopting" a family and shopping for them.

Registration for both programs must be completed in-person at the Social Services Division office, which is located in the Family Service Center at 6919 Outreach Way. For more information, residents can call 941-429-3700.
