Jacksonville Beach Cleanup Event on November 2nd

The City of Jacksonville and Keep Jacksonville Beautiful are organizing a beach cleanup event on Saturday, November 2nd, from 8 AM to 10 AM. Volunteers can check in at the beach access at Beach Boulevard, next to the Jax Beach Lifeguard Station. Participants will have the opportunity to receive community service certificates.

Since the event began in 2009, a total of 1,981 volunteers have participated, contributing 3,712 hours of work and collecting 36,340 pounds, or 18.17 tons, of debris from the beaches.
