Reviewed by Madi Wagner / Bendlocal.org

Bend-La Pine Schools reminds the community that the Oregon Summer Meals program will not be available on July 4th and 5th. This program provides free healthy meals to children and teenagers throughout the summer, Monday to Friday. The meals are offered at Alpenglow Park, Boys & Girls Club Downtown, La Pine Elementary, and Larkspur Park. Times for meals can be found at bls.fyi/summermeals. It's important to note that all meals must be consumed on site. There are no fees or registrations required. Parents and guardians are welcome to join their children, and they can purchase a meal for themselves at $5.
