A fire broke out in the 200 block of Harford Rd just before 9am. Wicomico Central received several calls about the fire. Assistant Chief 1 saw a lot of smoke and declared it a serious incident. When they arrived, they found a garage on fire with two vehicles, a shed, and a nearby house at risk. Truck 1 put out a line between the house and garage to protect the vehicles and started to put out the fire. Engine 16 connected to a hydrant and began to tackle the main fire. Another engine, 16-1, put water on the shed and vehicles that had caught fire. Delmar Truck 74 and Engine 74-1 came to help put out the fire. No one was hurt, and the fire did not spread to the house. The Fire Marshals office is looking into the cause of the fire. Other fire departments came to help and cover city stations.
