Middle school cross country athletes from all five middle schools in Wicomico County participated in a county Cross Country meet held at City Park. Salisbury Middle School emerged as the winner of the county trophy. Ribbons were awarded to the top six finishers in each grade level for both boys and girls.

Every participant contributed their best efforts to qualify for intramural sports, challenged themselves throughout the season, and competed in the county meet in front of fellow runners and supporters.

The event also featured highlight photos of the winners in each grade level, the start of each race, and the top finishers. High school cross country runners from Wicomico High and Parkside High volunteered to assist with the meet. Additional photos from the event will be available in a couple of days.
