The Wicomico Public Library is seeking volunteers to join Project READ, a free adult literacy program aimed at increasing literacy rates in the community.

Volunteers for Project READ must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English. The program offers one-on-one assistance with basic skills in Reading, Writing, and Math.

To volunteer or learn more about Project READ, individuals can contact DeMyra Harvey at 410-749-3612 ext. 159 or visit www.wicomicolibrary.org/project-read.

Project READ's mission is to empower through knowledge and unlock futures.
