Sixty years ago today, during Homecoming Weekend, Hobart and William Smith Colleges dedicated the Robert A. Bristol Gymnasium. The dedication took place on Saturday, October 16, 1965, at ten o'clock in the morning during a convocation ceremony in Geneva, New York. At the event, several dignitaries received honorary degrees, including Stan Musial, who would later be inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame as a member of the St. Louis Cardinals.
