Superintendent Visits Kindergarten, Reads Seasonal Favorite

Superintendent Wright visited Mrs. Leddick-Cole’s kindergarten class at Geneva City Schools in Geneva, NY this week. During the visit, the superintendent read The Leaf Thief by Alice Hemming, a book known as a seasonal favorite. Students responded by discussing trees that lose their leaves and the changes that occur with the seasons. Classroom expectations, such as keeping listening ears open, maintaining quiet mouths, placing hands on laps, and sitting with legs crossed, were highlighted during the session.
