Bend Man Arrested in Abuse Investigation

Bend Police detectives arrested 35-year-old Davis Allen Kellar on Thursday, June 18, on suspicion of multiple charges involving minors, according to the Bend Police Department.

Police said Kellar was arrested at his home in the 400 block of NE Kearney Ave. in Bend, where detectives served a search warrant. The case number was listed as 2026-00026161.

According to the department, the charges include Sexual Abuse II (two counts), Sexual Abuse III (two counts), Contributing to the Sexual Delinquency of a Minor (two counts), and Sexual Misconduct (two counts).

The department said the arrest followed a month-long investigation into reports that Kellar engaged in sexual acts with minors. Multiple interviews led investigators to believe Kellar likely had inappropriate relationships with minor co-workers at a local restaurant in downtown Bend.

Police said Kellar may have had access to other minors through his job. The investigation is ongoing. The department asked people with information to call Det. Dallas Wilson at 541-693-6911.
