Coastal Bend College said it is extending its condolences after the passing of Sarah Jaure.

The college described Jaure as a respected leader and a steadfast advocate whose contributions helped shape Coastal Bend College and the region it serves. Coastal Bend College said her commitment to education and community service helped create opportunities for generations of students.

The college said Sarah and her husband, Paul, made an impact through their support of education and commitment to student success. It said the Paul and Sarah Jaure Science Building was dedicated in their honor in 2021.

Coastal Bend College said it extends heartfelt condolences to the Jaure family, friends, and others who knew her, adding that her legacy of leadership, service, and advocacy will continue to inspire the college community.
