The Salisbury, Maryland Police Department said community members attended Dogs on the Dock in support of its police K9 officers.

The department said proceeds from the fundraiser will be used to purchase vests, provide veterinary care, and cover other services specifically for the police K9s through the Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore.

The department thanked people who showed support.
