Scottsdale Economic Development announced that June Days has returned to Old Town Scottsdale, described as a monthlong celebration aimed at supporting local businesses and giving people new ways to discover, dine and explore the area.

The announcement highlighted several events, including the Tournament of Treats, where attendees vote for a favorite frozen dessert. It also listed a sunset photo contest, storytelling nights, wine tastings, yoga classes, and guided experiences.

Scottsdale Economic Development said the series is designed to celebrate community throughout the month in Old Town.

Scottsdale athletes begin Special Olympics USA Games

McDowell Preserve to Close for July 4

Scottsdale will close the McDowell Sonoran Preserve at noon on July 4 to reduce wildfire risk. The preserve is scheduled to reopen at 4:52 a.m. on July 5.

Vista del Camino splash pad gets refresh
