Firefighters from the Salisbury Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire on Viewfield Drive in the 500 block. Upon arrival, crews discovered an odor of something burning. The source of the smell was determined to be a heating pad that had been placed in the microwave. Thankfully, the situation was quickly resolved without any further incident.
