Construction alters traffic pattern on Route 13 in Salisbury

Staff Report / Salisburylocal.org

A construction project by the Maryland Department of Transportation is replacing the U.S. 13 bridge over the Wicomico River in Salisbury, Maryland. Due to this, the traffic pattern for northbound travelers at the Main Street Intersection has changed. The right lane is closed for construction, causing northbound traffic to no longer have the option to turn left onto Main Street. The inside northbound lane now only allows for straight traffic flow.

To reach downtown Salisbury from Route 13, northbound travelers are advised to turn left at either the Carroll Street or Broad Street intersections and make their way to their destination from there.

For more information about the project, visit the dedicated page on the MDOT website.
