The Salisbury Police Department in Maryland is seeking re-accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA) and will undergo an on-site assessment from November 18-20, 2024. The assessment will verify that the department meets all applicable standards in policy and procedures, administration, operations, and support services. Community members and agency employees can provide comments to the CALEA Assessment Team through an online portal, and the information can be anonymous. The assessment team will provide the comments to the Chief of Police.
