**Nancy Mitchell Featured at A River Runs Through Us Artwalk**

Nancy Mitchell, a Pushcart Prize Winner and the Poet Laureate of Salisbury, Maryland, will be the highlighted poet in the upcoming A River Runs Through Us Artwalk. This event is scheduled to take place from September 15th to October 12th along the Salisbury Riverwalk.

Mitchell is recognized for her acclaimed collections of poetry, including The Near Surround, Grief Hut, and The Out-of-Body Shop. She has received various residency fellowships, including two in Auvillar, France, and was a featured guest on the Library of Congress' The Poet and The Poem podcasts in 2019. In addition to her poetry, Mitchell has taught in the English and Environmental Studies Departments at Salisbury University and has contributed to community outreach programs.

As part of the Artwalk, her poetry will be displayed along the Riverwalk, enhancing the artistic experience for attendees. There will be an Artwalk Reception and a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Salisbury Prize on September 17th from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Riverwalk Games Park. The event will include refreshments, music, and a tour of the exhibition.
